The Benedictine’s of Mary, Queen of Apostles, in Gower, MO would like to extend an invitation to parishioners of St. John Vianney to join them in watching the Total Solar Eclipse from the convent on August, 21st. The Sisters will be serving lunch, but would appreciate it if people could bring chips or drinks to help supplement.
As I am sure many of you know, places that are in the path of the Total Eclipse have been selling tickets for seating and parking. The nuns are not charging people to come, they are however raising money to finish there church and mentioned that a donation would be greatly appreciated from anyone who does come to the convent to watch the Eclipse.
If your family will be attending, please e-mail the sisters ASAP at the below address to inform them how many will be attending.
